iPad & iPhone App Development

Many developers wonder how to create iPad and iPhone apps. It’s something that’s on the rise and lots of money to be made off of them. There are two things you can do for this:

  1. Use SDK
SDK is the programming language used to create apps. it provides dynamic functionality and lots of useful yumminess that CSS and XHTML can’t perform.
  2. Use straight up web languages
That’s right! You can make apps with XHTML, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, and all that other fun stuff as well. SixRevisions has a good overview of how to do that.

Some of the companies I have worked for even looked down on the fact that I was getting into app development. More and more people are using smart phones / tablets and app development is in demand more and more. Many people that have made apps for the Apple app store make quite a GOOD living off of it.

Here’s a pretty killer picture of the new iPad 2, which was recently released!
